Komal is one of the busiest actors in the Kannada film industry with multiple films in his hand. While, ‘Kalaya Namaha’ is gearing up for release, his other films ‘Rolex’, ‘Ela Kunni’, a film with Nikhil Kumar is under various stages of production.
Now the actor is back with his 25th film and his 05th in the horror comedy genre. The film titled ‘Kuteera’ was launched in Bangalore on Saturday. Actress Priyanka Thimmesh has been roped in as the heroine of the film.
‘Kuteera’ is being written and directed by Anup Anthony and produced by Madhu Mariswamy under the banner of Kamsale Films.
Komal says Horror Comedy is his favourite genre and this is 5th film under the genre. ‘This is an interesting story and there are dozen devils in this film. The film revolves around a haunted mansion and what all happens there forms the rest of the film. There is a lot of graphics in the film and the film will be mainly shot in Bangalore’ says Komal.
The actor says he is nearing 100 films as an actor. ‘I have been in the industry for the last 30 years and I am nearing 100 films as an actor. As a hero I have completed 33 films. But a few of those films were multiple hero projects. This is my 25th film as a solo hero and I am very much excited to be a part of the film’ says Komal.
‘Kuteera’ stars Avinash, Yash Shetty, Cockroach Sudhi and others in prominent roles. Priyanka Thimmesh will be seen in a role of an Anglo-Indian in this film. B J Bharath is the music composer. The shooting for the film will start from the second week of March.
