Karthik Ruvary Reddy who is a well-known name in the YouTube short film circles has acted in a couple of films till now. The actor has turned a hero with a new entertainer called ‘Golmaal Gang’ which is all set to hit the screens in the month of July.
As the title itself suggests, ‘Golmaal Gang’ is a fun-filled movie that promises laughter and light-hearted entertainment. The film is produced by Satish Chandra under the Shanthu Universal Picture banner and is written and directed by Shivakumar. The teaser of the film was released on Wednesday in Bangalore.
Speaking about the film, ‘the film has 16 prominent artists portraying different characters. Every character in the film has significance and life. No matter how much effort we put in, nothing is possible without the artists. Since many of the characters are involved in creating confusion and mischief, we chose the title ‘Golmaal Gang,’ said the director.
Karthik Ruvary Reddy many heroines refused to be a part of the film. ‘When it was revealed that I was the hero, some heroines were not willing to join the project. Many said they wouldn’t work with someone who works in short films. However, the producer stood firm and refused to replace me. It was very emotional for me. I never considered myself a hero, but our director called me a hero so many times that I started believing it,’ said Karthik.
Lead Actress Aradhana Bhat said, ‘from my childhood, whenever anyone asked me about my dream, I would say that I wanted to become a heroine. Today, the dream has indeed come true through ‘Golmaal Gang’’ said the actress.
