Vijay Raghavendra who is known for his family films off late has signed a few thriller films and the latest to join the bandwagon is a cop thriller called ‘Case of Kondana’.
‘Case of Kondana’ is directed by Deviprasad Shetty who made his directorial debut with Vijay Raghavendra’s 50th film ‘Seetharam Benoy’. The duo has joined hands for the second time and the film was launched recently in Bangalore. Well known scribe and writer Jogi who has written the dialogues sounded the clap for the first shot of the film.
Deviprasad Shetty who has a penchant for crime films has selected another investigative thriller as his second film. ‘Case of Kondana’ has a tagline ‘09/2018’, which indicates the timeline of the film.
‘Case of Kondana’ features Vijay Raghavendra in a Police Officer’s role and will be acting along with Bhavana Menon. The duo had shared screen space in ‘Chowka’ and this is their second outing together. Bhavana will also be playing the role of a cop in this film. Apart from Vijay and Bhavana, ‘Dia’ fame Khushi Ravi is seen in the role of a doctor.
‘Case of Kondana’ is jointly produced by Deviprasad Shetty, Sathwik Hebbar and Arvind Shetty. Vishwajith Rao is the art director as well as the cinematographer, while Poornachandra Tejaswi will be composing the music music for the film. The film is all set to go on floors on the 28th of September.
