It’s been nearly 12 years since actor Nivin Pauly and director Alphone Puthren worked together. After giving successful films like ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’, the actor-director duo did not work together and the much-awaited announcement that Malayalam cinema fans have been eagerly anticipating is finally here.
After a gap of 12 years, blockbuster duo actor Nivin and Alphonse have reunited for a new film titled ‘Vijayam’. The teaser of the film was released recently. The title announcement video was unveiled in the presence of fans at Padma Theatre in Ernakulam.
‘Vijayam’ marks the 50th film of Nivin Pauly. The film is set against the backdrop of the world of racing. The makers are expected to reveal more details about the film’s cast and technical crew in the coming days.
‘Vijayam is being written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren. The film is being produced by Tanson Tony and Sunil Ramadi under the Cineholics banner, in association with Pauly Jr. Pictures. One of the highlights is, the background score of the film is composed by Kerala-based Steve Kottoor, who previously worked on the music production for the blockbuster films like ‘Durandhar’ and ‘Durandhar 2’.
