Recently, there was a news that director Preetham Gubbi will be directing Kavitha Lankesh’s daughter Isha Lankesh in a new film. While the team had revealed the name of the female lead, they had kept the identity of the male lead under wraps, creating curiosity among audiences about who would play the hero.
Now the lead actor has been finally revealed and Sumukha who is known for his role in Yogaraj Bhatt’s ‘Manada Kadalu’ has been selected to play the hero in the film. Sumukha had earlier made his debut as an actor and director through ‘Physics Teacher’ which was released a few years ago. Sumukha, who comes from a theatre background, is also acting in a few other films, including a Malayalam movie.
Isha Lankesh, granddaughter of renowned writer and journalist P Lankesh and daughter of filmmaker Kavitha Lankesh, who had acted as a child artist will be making her debut as a lead actress through this film.
The film is being produced under the banner of Nidhi Films Productions by Ranganath Kempanahalli (RK) and Atharva R. Kempanahalli (ARK).
Preetham Gubbi has said that details regarding the film’s title, as well as the rest of the cast and technical crew, will be announced shortly.
