It’s been nearly two years since a film of Sathish Ninasam has been released. His last release was ‘Matinee’ and the film faired poorly at the box-office. Now the actor is back with his new film ‘The Rise of Ashoka’ which is all set to hit the screens on the 27th of February.

‘The Rise of Ashoka’ will be released in multiple languages and the promotions are at full swing. Meanwhile, the trailer of the film was released by Veteran actor-director V Ravichandran in an event held at the GT Mall in Bengaluru. ‘Duniya’ Vijay, Loose Maada Yogi, Diganth, Vasishta Simha, Shivaraj K R Pete and others were present at the event and wished Sathish Ninasam and the team of ‘The Rise of Ashoka’ a huge success.

Ravichandran said he did not just see visuals, but tears in Satish’s eyes. ‘Those tears showed Satish’s deep love, dreams and passion for cinema. Men should control their tears and stay strong. Making a movie is like that of the pain of childbirth. Every film is like a delivery. The audience performs the operation and filmmakers must first try to save and support their film’ said Ravichandran.

Ravichandran requested audiences to go to the theatre as viewers, not as critics. ‘Stop judging films only for likes on social media. Instead, the makers should let audiences enjoy the movie fully for two and a half hours. Viewers must spend money on tickets and support good films’ said the actor-director.

Satish said that Ravichandran is like a father figure to him. He thanked ‘Duniya’ Vijay, Yogi, Vasishta and others for supporting him. ‘Some people thought I was inspired too much by big films like ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara’. I am not influenced by them, but passionate about my film. The film has come out very well and will also release in about 200 theatres in Telugu and Tamil as well’ said Sathish.

‘The Rise of Ashoka’ stars Sathish Ninasam along with Sapthami Gowda, B Sampath, Ravishankar, Gopalakrishna Deshapande, Sampath Maitreya, Yash Shetty and others in prominent roles. The film is produced under Vriddhi Creations and Satish Pictures House. Vardhan Narahari, Jaishnavi and Satish Ninasam are the producers.
