The news of Zaid Khan of ‘Benaras’ fame acting in Anil Kumar’s directorial is not at all new. The news broke out earlier this year and the first look poster of their film ‘Cult’ was also released on the occasion of Ugadi Festival earlier this year.
After that there was no news from their side. Now the film is all set to go on floors soon and Rachita Ram has been roped into play the female lead in the film. The makers on Monday have welcomed the actress on board.
Rachita Ram was last seen in Sathish Ninasam’s ‘Matinee’ which was released a few months back. The film went without a trace. Now the actress is looking forward for the release of ‘Sanju Weds Geetha 2’.
Zaid Khan played a lover boy in his debut film and for his second film, the actor will be not only changing his looks but also will be seen in a completely different role from his previous film. The first look poster is an example for that.
‘Cult’ is being written and directed by Anil Kumar and is bankrolled by Loki Cinemas. J S Wali is the cinematographer, while Arjun Janya is the music composer. Ravi Varma is in charge of the fights, while K M Prakash is the editor.
The film is all set to go on floors soon.
