Nirup Bhandari who was seen in soft characters in films like ‘Rangitaranga’, ‘Aadilakshmi Purana’ and others will be seen in a mass look in his forthcoming film ‘Atikaya’. The actor has bid adieu to the Chocolate Boy roles he has done so far and will be playing a grittier role in the film.
Recently, the first look of the film has been released and the actor is seen sporting a bloodied face and wielding a weapon in his hand. Not only the character, it is being said that the actor has transformed physique and appearance to fit the character. The film is said to showcases a different side of Nirup, which the audience has not witnessed on screen before.
‘Ahikaya’ is being written and directed by Nagaraj Peenya who had earlier directed films like ‘Padhe Padhe’ and ‘Namak Haram’. It’s been quite some years since Nagaraj has directed a film and the director is back with an action film this time.
Nagaraj Peenya has already wrapped up its first phase of shooting in various parts of Bangalore and is busy preparing for the second schedule which will commence soon.
‘Atikaya’ has Uday Leela handling the cinematography, while Satish Aryan is the music composer.
