Rajesh Murthy is back with his 10th film as a director. Rajesh, son of Late producer-director H M K Murthy has silently wrapped up a new film called ‘Dinku’ and is busy with the post-production of the film.
Rajesh who has directed ‘Red’, ‘Shadyanthra’ and others previously has directed a suspense fantasy thriller which is all about a talking doll. The film revolves around Dinku the doll and a girl who does puppet shows along with Dinku. What all happens in their lives forms the crux of the film.
Though the story looks very similar to that of well-known Ventriloquist Indushree and her doll Dinku, the film has nothing to do with theme. ‘Dinku’ is a fictional tale of a similar doll and her owner.

Rajesh Murthy’s son Yashaswa who made his debut with ‘Agniloka’ is the hero of the film. Even before the release of his debut film, Yashaswa has acted in the film. Yashaswa is in charge of the story, screenplay and dialogues. Sannidhi plays the female lead in the film.
The shooting for ‘Dinku’ has been completed in and around Bangalore and the team has completed the editing and dubbing for the film. The film is jointly produced by Nela Mahesh and Navy Manju. There are four fights in the film and the fights are composed by Girish AP. Nitish Kumar is the music composer.
Dinku’ is likely to be released in the month of September.
