Well known music composer Santhosh Narayan of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and ‘Kabali’ fame is all set to make his debut in Kannada with Vinod Prabhakar’s ‘Balaramana Dinagalu’.
Vinod Prabhakar who is looking forward for the release of ‘Lankasura’ and ‘Maadeva’ had signed ‘Balaramana Dinagalu’ earlier this year. This is his 25th film as an actor and is being written and directed by K M Chaitanya of ‘Aa Dinagalu’ fame.
The title of the film along with the name of the production company was unveiled by Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar in a grand event held near Nelamangala in February this year. Vinod Prabhakar was given the title ‘Tiger’ on this occasion. However, the shooting for the film is yet to commence.
Meanwhile, Santhosh Narayan has been roped in as the music composer. Santhosh Narayan who made his debut in Tamil with ‘Attakathi’ in 2012 has composed music for many films including ‘Pizza’, ‘Kabali’, ‘Kaala’, ‘Mahaan’, ‘Dasara’, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ and others. Though Santhosh had commenced music for Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films, this is the first time he is composing music for a Kannada film.
‘Balaramana Dinagalu’ is being produced by Padmavathi Jayaram and Shreyas under Padmavathi Films.
