There has been news that Sandalwood actor Yash might play the role of Ravana in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi as Rama and Sita. Yash was also said to be charging a whopping 80 crores for the film.
Now if sources are to be believed, then Yash is joining the Ranbir Kapoor starring as a producer. The news is hard to digest, yet there is a buzz that Yash will be co-producing the film.
Fans are anxiously awaiting confirmation from the pan-Indian actor, but Yash is mum about the whole issue. The actor is currently busy with his pan-Indian film ‘Toxic’ being directed by Geethu Mohan Das and produced by KVN Productions.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Ranbir is demanding a hefty fee to portray Lord Ram in the film. Ranbir is said to have charged a remuneration of Rs 75 crores for the film. In the meantime, rumour has it that Sai Pallavi has demanded Rs 6 crore for playing Sita.
Nitesh Tiwari has already started shooting for the film and some of his scenes have already appeared online. Meanwhile, Ranbir is away from home to prepare for the role of Lord Rama in the film. The actor is sweating it out with his trainer.
