It’s been quite some time since Vijay Raghavendra tasted success with any of his films which were released in the last couple of years. Yet, the actor has been experimenting with quite a lot of different roles in his previous films.
This time, the actor will be seen in the role of ‘Rippen Swaamy’ in his new film of the same name. Though his role in the film is not divulged, the recently released poster of the film surely suggests that the actor will be seen in a never seen before avatar in the film. Kishore Moodabidri who directed the actor in ‘Malgudi Days’ is back with story, screenplay and direction.
‘Rippen Swamy’ is being produced under Panchanana Films and stars Vijay Raghavendra, Ashwini Chandrashekhar, Prakash Tumminadu, Vajradheer Jain, Yamuna Srinidhi, Krishnamurthy Kavattar and others in prominent roles. The team has also completed the shooting for the film in places like Koppa, Kalasa, Balehonnur and other places.
Well known music composer from Malayalam film industry, Samuel Abhi has been roped in to compose the music for this film. Ranganath is the cinematographer.
‘Rippen Swamy’ is currently in the post-production stage and the film is likely to release in the month of July.
