‘Devil’ to release in October this year says Darshan

The first look teaser of Darshan starrer ‘Devil – The Hero’ was recently released on the occasion of Darshan’s birthday. The shooting of the film will be kickstarting soon and the actor has said that the film will be releasing in the month of October.

The 50 days celebration of ‘Kaatera’ was recently held at the Prasanna Theater in Bangalore. The success celebrations coincided with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the theater, which was started in the 1970s.

Speaking during the occasion, ‘many seniors from the Kannada film industry has advised me to do two films a year. I will definitely accept their advice and work towards it. My next film ‘Devil – The Hero’ will be releasing in October this year and we will work hard towards completing the deadline. The film will be releasing in this theater also’ said Darshan.

Darshan will be joining hands with director Prakash Veer, formerly known as ‘Milana’ Prakash in film circles again after ‘Tarak’. Prakash had directed Darshan in ‘Tarak’, a family entertainer which was released in 2017. After a gap the two have joined hands for ‘Devil’.

‘Devil’ is being produced by Prakash’s mother J Jayamma. The film was launched last year in Bangalore. As Darshan was busy with ‘Kaatera’, the shooting for the film was pushed to 2024. Now as Darshan has completed his prior commitments, the shooting for the film will start soon.

Sudhakar S Raj is the cinematographer, while Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music composer. More details about the cast are yet awaited.
