The teaser and first look of Rishab Shetty’s most anticipated film ‘Kantara – Chapter’ which is a prequel of ‘Kantara’ has recorded 20 plus million views in just three days.
Following the global success of ‘Kantara’ which was released last year, the makers had announced a prequel to the film earlier this year. Likewise, the film was launched on Monday at the Anegudde Vinayaka Temple in Kundapura.
The makers had released a power packed teaser and a stunning first look of Rishab Shetty in the film. The teaser had taken the whole country by storm and the teaser had garnered 12 million views within a day of the release and trended Number 1 in YouTube. With three days of its release, the teaser managed to garner 20 plus million views.
‘Kantara – Chapter 1’ is produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and written and directed by Rishab Shetty. Rishab Shetty plays a prominent role in the film and the rest of the star cast is yet to be disclosed. Cinematographer Aravind Kashyap and music composer Ajaneesh Lokanath will be continuing their responsibilities here also.
The shooting for ‘Kantara – Chapter 1’ will start in December and the film will be releasing in 2024. The film will be releasing in seven languages including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali and English.
