Darshan’s fans who have been waiting for the release of his latest film is sure in for a treat. The release date of the film is finally out and ‘Kaatera’ will be releasing on the 29th of December as the last film of the year.
The shooting for ‘Kaatera’ was completed a few days back. However, the film was said to release early next year as the team is busy with the post production work. However, the team has decided to release the film this year itself and has announced the release date with a new teaser on Wednesday. This will be Darshan’s third film this year after ‘Kranti’ and a guest appearance in ‘Garadi’
The teaser showcases Darshan in a rugged avatar. The film which is based on some real incidents in the 1970s is set in a rural backdrop. The teaser has already become a good hit with the actor’s fans and the fans are waiting for the film’s release.
‘Kaatera’ is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his Rockline Entertainments banner and is being directed by Tharun Sudhir who had earlier directed Darshan in ‘Robert’. V Harikrishna is the music composer, while Sudhakar Raj is the cinematographer. Jadesh Hampi has penned the story of the film and has co-written the screenplay along with Tharun Sudhir.
The film marks the debut of Ramu and Malashree’s daughter Aradhana to Sandalwood. Apart from Darshan and Aradhana, Shruthi, Kumar Govind, Vinod Alva, Jagapathi Babu and others play prominent roles in the film.
