Director ‘Simple’ Suni, who is known for his distinctive and unconventional storylines, is all set to entertain audiences with another intriguing concept. This time the director is back with a sci-fi film called ‘Lambodara 2.0’ which is all set to hit the screens on the 20th of November.
The official first-look poster of ‘Lambodara 2.0’ has been unveiled, sparking considerable curiosity among movie lovers. Presented by Mahaveer Jain Films, the film is being produced on a grand scale by Mass Production.
Going beyond conventional entertainment, the film explores human happiness, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and the future of humanity. It is set to hit the screens as a scientific social thriller. Built around five distinct characters, the story raises thought-provoking questions such as, ‘Will India become the happiest country in the world?’, ‘Who will be the happiest person in India?’ and ‘What truly makes a human being happy?’ amongst others.
The film’s central theme revolves around the thrilling journey of five individuals from different worlds as they search for true happiness. The team has also introduced an unconventional promotional tagline through the poster: ‘Happiness Loading … 92%’.
‘Lambodara 2.0’ stars Anil Shetty, Kunal Kapoor, Saachi Bindra, Meghana Gaonkar and Mac D’Souza playing prominent roles. The film also features Malavika Avinash in a prominent role. Adding to the star cast, a humanoid robot named ‘Jia’ will also be one of the film’s major attractions, further raising expectations. Veer Samarth has composed the music, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cinematographer.
‘Lambodara 2.0’ is set for a simultaneous release in Kannada and Hindi.
