There has been a news for some time that Raj B Shetty is playing a prominent role in ‘Duniya’ Vijay starrer ‘Landlord’. However, the team was mum about Raj Shetty’s presence in the movie.
Now the team has officially declared the presence of Raj B Shetty in ‘Landlord’ with a teaser. The introduction character teaser of Raj Shetty was officially launched in the Anand Audio You Tube channel on Monday morning.
Raj B Shetty plays a negative character in the film. He plays the role of ‘The Ruler’ in the film which is as strong as the protagonist Vijay who plays ‘The Survivor’ in the film. Raj Shetty sports a new look for the film and is seen in a wig in the film.
Speaking about his character, ‘I play a man who not only enjoys power but also go to any extent to retain the power. I play a different look for this film. I had played a negative character in a Malayalam film. If I get such good characters, I would definitely play negative characters in Kannada also. I found this role very interesting. I had not done such characters before. So, I accepted to be a part of the film’ says Raj B Shetty.
‘Landlord’ is being produced by Hemanth Gowda and Sathyaprakash under Sarathi Films. The film is being written and directed by Jadesh K Hampi. The film stars ‘Duniya’ Vijay, Rachita Ram, Raj B Shetty, Rithnya Vijay, Shishir Baikady and others in prominent roles. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music composer, while Swamy J Gowda is the cinematographer.
‘Landlord’ is slated to hit the screens on the 23rd of January, 2026.
