Actor Prateek Shetty who is known for humorous short films in YouTube is all set to make his foray into silver screen. Prateek has changed his name to Yudith Shetty and has made his debut with a new film called ‘1st Love Guru’ being directed by Guruprasad.
‘1st Love Guru’ is complete and the team has started the promotions of the film by releasing the first song of the film. The song has been released in Ka Music, which is a new division of K Picture (Kannada Picture), headed by film journalist and publicist Praveen Ekantha. With the aim of supporting films by fresh teams and encouraging new kinds of cinema, the label has acquired the audio rights of its debut film, ‘1st Love Guru’.
The Ka Music audio label was officially launched with the words of wisdom from veteran music composer and lyricist Hamsalekha, while lyricist turned director Kaviraj unveiled the label on the Rajyotsava Day. Director and lyricist Chethan Kumar and lyricist Nagarjun Sharma were also present on the occasion. The title song of ‘1st Love Guru’, titled ‘Shuru’, has been released as the first song under the Ka Music label.
One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of the Ka Music logo and the lead actors of ‘1st Love Guru’ on stage, accompanied by a magic performance by magician Ramesh, who is the mentor of the film’s director, Guruprasad.
Composed by Manojavam Aatreya as his debut musical composition, the song features lyrics by Pramod Maravante and has been sung by Varun Ramachandra and Surabhi. This melodious romantic song features the film’s lead pair, Yudith Shetty and Radhya Raj, portraying teenage lovers.
‘1st Love Guru’ boasts a talented ensemble cast comprising both senior and young actors. Senior actors Shobharaj, Chandrakala Mohan, Bhagyashree, Magic Ramesh, K S Sridhar, ‘Drama Junior’ Mahendra, Praveen Jain, Gajendra and Yuva Shetty play prominent roles.
The film’s cinematography is handled by Satish G, while veteran editor Suresh Urs is in charge of editing. ‘1st Love Guru’ is produced by KMG Productions and is scheduled for a statewide theatrical release on November 27.
