Two talented actors who are slowly trying to carving a niche in big screen are Gilli Nata and Gowrav Shetty. Both the actors a sensation in small screen and You Tube respectively. Both have acted in small yet prominent roles in a few films. Now both have turned heroes with a single film called ‘Super Hit’. Gilli and Gowrav will be sharing space as heroes in the film.
‘Super Hit’ is a comic thriller written and directed by Vijayanand aka Anandapriya. This is Vijayanand’s third film after ‘Olu Muniswamy’ and ‘Krishna Talkies’. The film is produced by Umesh G under Vijayalakshmi Enterprises. The shooting for the film has been completed silently and the teaser of the film was released on Monday evening in the Music Bazaar channel.
Speaking about the film, ‘this is a comedy thriller with a lot off twists and turns. There is wow factor at the end of every 10 minutes. I found the title ‘Super Hit’ suitable for the film. The film has a tagline called ‘Running Successfully’ which is very apt for the film. This is a journey-based film shot in Hubli, Dharwad, Dhandeli and other locations. The shoot has been completed and I had decided that I will announce the film only after the shooting is concluded. The film is in the re-recording stage and I hope to release the film soon. Apart from Gowrav Shetty, Gilli Nata has also played an important character in the film’ said Vijayanand.
On making his debut as a hero, ‘the real hero of the film is the director himself. He has written a very good story and has been constantly improvising it. The real challenge was to act with Gilli Nata. There are many good comedy actors in the film and the film is a pure entertainer’ says Gowrav Shetty.
The film stars Gilli Nata, Gowrav Shetty, Shwetha, Sadhu Kokila, Pramod Shetty, Dragon Manju, Tennis Krishna, Giri Shivanna, Kari Subbu, Swapna Shettygar and others in prominent roles. V Nagendra Prasad is in charge of music and lyrics, while R D Nagarjun is the cinematographer.
