His previous film ‘Landlord’ starring ‘Duniya’ Vijay might not be a big hit at the box-office, that has not deterred producer K V Satyaprakash from producing another film. On the occasion of Ugadi, Satyaprakash has announced a new film in the direction of P C Shekhar.
With the start of the new year, the film industry too is buzzing with announcements of new projects. Amidst the festive celebrations, P C Shekhar has announced his new film. Known for films like ‘Raaga’ and ‘Romeo, P C Shekhar is now gearing up to direct his 12th film. This time, he has teamed up with producer Sathyaprakash, known for films like ‘Sarathi’ and ‘Landlord’.
P C Shekhar has currently busy with the final stage of shooting of ‘Mahaan’ starring Vijay Raghavendra in lead role and is in the final preparations of the new film which is all set to go on floors soon. Even before the release of ‘Mahaan’, Shekhar has lined up this new project.
The director has stated that the film will be mounted on a grand scale. ‘I am very happy that a producer who has made big films like ‘Sarathi’ and ‘Landlord’ has given me this opportunity. We will soon reveal the film’s title and star cast’ said P C Shekhar.
Another highlight is that actor-producer Mitra, who is a close friend of Satyaprakash and P C Shekhar, is working as the executive producer for this film. Mithra had previously appeared as the hero in P C Shekhar’s ‘Raaga’. Interestingly, this time he is working behind the camera as an executive producer.
