It has been one and a half years since a movie starring Satish Ninasam was released. Now, his new film ‘The Rise of Ashoka’ is all set to release early next year. Sathish Ninasam says ‘The Rise of Ashoka’ is one of the toughest films in his career.
Satish Ninasam who spoke during the release of the first song of the film, ‘It is not easy to make a movie like this. Even if I don’t promote a film like ‘Ayogya’, I know people will still watch it. But this film is different. The story itself is unique. When we thought of making it in other languages, people started saying that I am doing this because of the Pan-India craze. It’s not about the Pan-India craze. I too wanted to make a film like ‘KGF’ or ‘Kantara’. I did not take even a single rupee as payment for this film. The movie got delayed due to various reasons. Just when the problems got solved and shooting was about to start, the director committed suicide. From then on, the responsibility only increased’ said the actor.

Satish added that he has dedicated his precious three years because for this film. ‘After all the problems got resolved and the shooting started, my brother met with an accident. We fought for three years and completed this movie finally. Even my enemies will feel proud after watching it. I could have easily did six movies in the last three years. But I didn’t, because ‘The Rise of Ashoka’ meant everything to us’ said Sathish.
‘The Rise of Ashoka’ stars Sathish Ninasam, Sapthami Gowda, B. Suresh, Ravishankar, Gopalakrishna Deshpande, Sampath Maithreya, Yash Shetty, Dragon Manju, Harish Peradi, Jagappa and others. The film which is directed by late Vinod Dhondale is jointly produced under the banners of Vriddhi Creations and Satish Pictures House by Vardhan Narahari, Jaishnavi and Satish Ninasam.
