It’s been nearly two years since the news of Prashanth Neel directing a film for Junior NTR broke out. The news was officially announced last year. However, it was not disclosed about when the film will be launched?
The film which has been tentatively titled as ‘NTRNeel’ was officially launched on the Nagarapanchami festival day on Friday in Hyderabad. The film was formally launched with a pooja ceremony at the Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
The event was attended by Dil Raju, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and others. While Junior NTR sounded the clap for the first shot of the film, his wife Pranathi switched on the camera.
Earlier, it was said that Mythri Movie Makers will be producing the film. Now NTR Arts will also be co-producing this action entertainer. The actor and director will be teaming up for the first time in their career.
Junior NTR is wrapping the shooting for ‘Devara – Part 1’ and will be joining the sets of ‘NTRNeel’ soon. The actor is said to undergo a makeover for his character in the film. Cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and Ravi Basrur who are regulars in Prashanth Neel film, will be continuing here also.
Even before the shooting for the film, the makers have announced the release date of the film. The film will be releasing on the 09th of January 2026.
