Well known actor and director Rishab Shetty who is currently busy promoting his new film ‘Laughing Buddha’ which he has produced under his Rishab Shetty Films banner has met his idol actor ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram who was in Bangalore recently.
Vikram was in Bangalore recently to promote his latest pan Indian film ‘Thangalaan’ which is all set to hit the screens on the 15th of August across India.
Rishab met his idol at the hotel and said he is the luckiest person on the earth. The actor took to ‘X’ to share his views about his favourite actor and wished Vikram the very best for ‘Thangalaan’.
‘In my journey in becoming an actor, Vikram Sir has always been my inspiration. After 24 long years of waiting, meeting my idol today makes me feel like the luckiest person on Earth. Thank you for inspiring actors like me and wishing you all the best for ‘Thangalaan’ wrote Rishab Shetty.
Vikram also during the press conference of the film mentioned that Rishab was his inspiration. ‘When we started ‘Thangalaan’, we didn’t know how to take it to the next level. That’s when ‘Kantara’ got released. While a few films like Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ opened the door and ‘KGF’ expanded the pan-India scenario, Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara’ proved that quality content can reach a wider audience. In fact, the film inspired us to take it to the next level’ said Vikram.
