Yuva Rajkumar grandson of Dr Rajkumar who is fresh from the success of his debut film ‘Yuva’ which was released on the 29th of March says that not only the debut film, but every film is a challenge.

Yuva was talking with a few media persons after the success meet of his film ‘Yuva’ on Saturday night. ‘I am happy that my debut film is a hit with the audience. I am looking forward to do more films in the future and every film is a challenge. First film creates importance to any actor. The upcoming films continue or change the importance of the actor. So, every film is a challenge’ says the actor.

‘I got good feedback for my debut film directed by Santhosh Anandaram. The father-son sentiment got an instant connection with the audience. Many people also lauded my dance moves. My uncle (Late Puneeth Rajkumar) is my biggest inspiration when it comes to dance and acting. I am thankful the choreographers who composed dances according to my body language’ says Yuva.

Yuva says he is interested in doing all genres of films in the future. ‘There are many discussions going on and I am open to all kinds of stories. I like mythological and historical films in particular and I have grown up seeing films like ‘Mayura’, ‘Ranadheera Kanteerava’, ‘Babruavahana’ and others. There are many historical stories which are needed to be presented to the future generations and I personally feel that cinema is a very good medium to present such stories. The audience is also open to such kind of films and I hope that I get such opportunities in the future’ tells the actor.

On acting in a film in his home production, ‘every actor in our family was introduced by our home production. I am the first actor to be launched by Hombale Films. My father was not well and uncle was busy with his projects. Later Puneeth uncle started PRK Productions. Both Vajreshwari and PRK are my home productions and I am looking forward to act in both the banners in the coming days’ says Yuva Rajkumar.
