The shooting for Vikram Ravichandran’s new film ‘Mudhol’ is nearing completion. All the while, the team was mum about the cast and crew of the film. Now it has been officially announced that ‘Salaga’ fame actress Sanjana Anand has been roped in as the heroine of the film.
Sanjana Anand made her debut with ‘Chemistry of Kariappa’, but it was ‘Duniya’ Vijay’s directorial debut ‘Salaga’ that brought her much popularity. After that the actress apart from acting in films like ‘Shokiwala’, ‘Window Seat’ and others made her debut in Telugu also.
There has been news for quite some time that Sanjana Anand might land up in ‘Mudhol’ as the female lead. Recently, the actress celebrated her birthday and the team officially announced that Sanjana Anand is very much a part of the film and is the female lead for Vikram Ravichandran. Apart from ‘Mudhol’, Sanjana will also be seen in films like ‘Royal’ and Dhanveerah’s ‘Hayagrriva’.
This is Vikram’s second film as an actor after ‘Trivikrama’. Vikram will be playing the role of a gangster and the film was launched last year. The title teaser was released at the Navarang Theater in Bangalore.
‘Mudhol’ is being written and directed by Karthik Rajan who had recently worked as a co-director in Dhananjay starrer ‘Head Bush’. The film marks the debut of Karthik as a director. The film is being produced by Raksha and Vijay Kumar who had earlier produced ‘Mugilpete’.
Yuvaraj Chandran who had earlier worked with S S Thaman is composing the music for the film. Masthi Manju is in charge of dialogues, while Sandeep Valluri is the cinematographer.
