Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ which was released on Friday (01st December 2023) has collected Rs 116 crores worldwide on the first day and is considered as the biggest non-holiday opening in Hindi cinema ever.
T-Series which has produced the film on Saturday officially announced that the film has grossed Rs 116 crores worldwide in five different languages.
‘Anilmal’ is a PAN Indian film made in Hindi and was simultaneously released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. This is Ranbir’s second PAN Indian film after ‘Brahmastra’. The film written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame got mixed reviews by the critics and the audience.
Ranbir Kapoor who was often seen in soft roles in his film, for the first time is as an action hero in this out and out action entertainer. The film is about the father-son relationship and is an intense drama loaded with lots of action and emotions. The film which is a revenge story has Ranbir Kapoor delivering a powerful performance of his career.
‘Animal’ is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Pranav Reddy Vanga under T Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead, while Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol are seen in important roles.
