Real life couple Vasishta Simha and Haripriya are all set to make their first presence on screen in the form of ‘Yada Yada Hi’. The film is all set to hit the screens on the 02nd of June.

Meanwhile, the trailer of the film was released in an event held in Bangalore recently. Vasishta Simha, Diganth and Haripriya spoke in length about their characters in the film and the way the film has shaped up.

Speaking about her role, ‘when I first heard the script, I was very much thrilled. We don’t get female oriented scripts often. I have been in search of such kind of scripts my entire career and this role was very intense. There were many challenges and the story revolves between mine, Vasishta and Diganth’s characters. I have seen Vasishta working hard for his films. I thought if he would be in the film, then the film would shape up really good. It is my selfishness that if he acts in the film, then I thought I would be more comfortable. Finally, Vasishta accepted to be a part of the film’ said Haripriya.

The actress says men are women are always not the victims. ‘In today’s world, the ratio is 50:50. Men are also victims, but they hesitate to voice out because of the society. So many doesn’t come openly. This script revolves around 3 brilliant and smart people. We try to outshine each other and challenge every time. Of course, we are lovable, but we are cruel at the same time. Who among the three is going to win and who is the culprit forms the climax. This is a class film. It will be intense and edge of the seat thriller’ tells Haripriya.

The actress has also sung the title song of the film with hubby Vasishta. When asked about her experience of making her debut in singing, Haripriya said she wanted to sing a song. ‘I have been a chorus singer in this film. I was very nervous while singing. Vasishta is a fantastic singer. I didn’t prepare for the song and it was Vasishta who encouraged me to sing. When I hear the song now, I feel very happy’ concludes Haripriya.

‘Yada Yada Hi’ is the remake of Telugu hit ‘Evaru’ which is itself a remake of Spanish film ‘The Invisible Guest’. The film was also made in Hindi as ‘Badla’ starring Amitabh Bachchan. Ashok Teja has directed this film, while Rajesh Agarwal is the producer.
