Though the shooting for Srimurali’s new film ‘Bagheera’ was launched almost six months back the heroine was not disclosed. Now Rukmini Vasanth has been roped in as the heroine for the film.
Rukmini Vasanth made her debut as an actress in R J Srini’s ‘Birbal’. She is also the female lead in Rakshit Shetty’s ‘Saptha Sagaradaache Ello’ and Ganesh starrer ‘Baanadariyalli’. Now she will be playing the role of heroine in ‘Bagheera’
‘Bagheera’ was launched in Bangalore in May. The shooting for the film is being held in coastal places of Karnataka and Goa in the last few months. The film is half complete and will be releasing next year.
This is Dr Suri’s second film as a director. Earlier, Dr Suri had directed Yash starrer ‘Lucky’. Now Dr Suri is back to direction after a long gap and has also written the screenplay based on a story by Prashanth neel.
Apart from Srimurali and Rukmini Vasannth, Rangayana Raghu and Achyuth Kumar are also a part of the star cast. The film has music by Ajaneesh Lokanath and cinematography by A J Shetty.
