The first edition of the ‘Bigg Boss OTT Kannada’ has finally ended on Saturday (September 16th) and actor Roopesh Shetty has been adjudged the show topper of the programme.
‘Bigg Boss OTT Kannada’ was launched in the first week of August in Voot Select and Numerologist Aryavardhan, Sonu Srinivas Gowda, actor Roopesh Shetty, Spoorthy Gowda, Saniya Iyer, Lokesh, Kiran Yogeshwar, Rakesh Adiga, Akshata Kuki, Chaitra Hallikeri, Uday Surya, Jayashree, Arjun Ramesh, Jashwant-Nandini and journalist Somanna Machimada entered the Bigg Boss house as contestants.
This time, more prominence was given to social media influencers rather than film and television artists as the hugely popular reality show will be streaming live on OTT. Off the 16 contestants only Aryavardhan, Roopesh Shetty, Sania Iyer and Rakesh Adiga entered the final round of ‘Bigg Boss’.
Out of the four, actor Sudeep who is the host of the show announced the name of Roopesh Shetty as the winner. He has been awarded a prize money of Rs. 5 Lakhs. Roopesh Shetty will be making a direct entry to ‘Bigg Boss 9’ which is all said to start from the 24th of September in Colors Kannada.
Apart from Roopesh Shetty, Aryavardhan, Sania Iyer and Rakesh Adiga will also make a direct entry as contestants in the ninth edition of ‘Bigg Boss’.
