Sandalwood actress Srinidhi Shetty of ‘KGF’ fame has said that she doesn’t want to be called as PAN Indian queen and is ready to act in one language film also if the script good.
After ‘KGF 2’, Srinidhi is back with ‘Cobra’ starring Chiyaan Vikram. The film was first started as a Tamil film and is now releasing in Telugu and Kannada also.
‘In 2019 director Ajay Gnanamuttu called me for a meeting. When he said that it is a Vikram’s film, I immediately accepted to be a part of the film. Vikram is a legend and I have grown up seeing his films. It was a honour and blessing for her me to playing female lead to the legendary actor’ said Srinidhi.

Talking about her experience about working with him, the actress said Vikram is a through professional and sweet. ‘When I went to the shooting on the first day, the director asked me to try to match my performance with Vikram. Seeing him, I was quite nervous and tried to do my level best. He is a professional and tried to make me comfortable. Later we had a blast and the entire team was amazing’ says Srinidhi Shetty.
Srinidhi’s first three films were PAN Indian films. When asked about whether she signs only PAN Indian films, the actress says she doesn’t put such any such clause before signing a film. ‘’KGF’ started off as a Kannada film, but later dubbed to other languages because of the output. This film also started off only in Tamil, but later dubbed to Kannada and Telugu because to reach a wider audience. I don’t do only multiple language films. I don’t put any such clause before signing a film. I just look for the story and my character. If I get a good offer from Kannada only, I will definitely do. I am not a PAN Indian queen and ready to act in any language if I get a good story and character’ says Srinidhi.
One of the highlights is, Srinidhi has also dubbed for her portions for the Kannada version of the film. Srinidhi completed the dubbing in just one day and the team is in awe of her.
