Sandalwood actor Sudeep is all set to celebrate his birthday on the 02nd of September. Meanwhile, ‘Vikrant Rona’ is all set to release on the same date in Zee 5.
‘Vikrant Rona’ was released on the 28th of July across the globe. While, the technical aspects including the cinematography, background music and art work of the film were much appreciated by everybody, the film drew flak for its screenplay and slow pace.
The film was expected to be another PAN Indian film from Kannada to reach the 100 crore club. However, due to mixed response and a dearth of audience, the film not only failed at the box-office, but also managed to garner less than 100 crores.
Producer Jack Manju was safe as he had sold the digital and satellite rights of the film to Zee even before the release of the film. Now the film will have its digital release on the 02nd September, followed by a satellite release in Zee Kannada later. Zee 5 is planning to release a special trailer in this regard soon.
‘Vikrant Rona’ stars Sudeep, Jacqueline Fernandes, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, Ravishankar Gowda and others in prominent roles. The film is written and directed by Anup Bhandari. Ajaneesh Lokanath is the music director, while William David is the cinematographer.
