Just when most of the stars of the waited for theaters to start screening films, Suriya is the first big star of the South Indian film industry who had opted for a direct digital release for ‘Soorarai Pottru’. The film became a huge success and paved way for many such big releases.
Now the actor has lined up four new releases on the Amazon Prime Video. All the four films are produced by the actor and are lined up for release each month starting from September.
Of the four, ‘Jai Bhim’ features him as the lead hero. The film directed by Tha.Se. Gnanavel will have a Diwali premiere in November. This courtroom drama has Suriya playing the role of a lawyer. ‘Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum’ directed by Arisil Moorthy, ‘Udanpirappe’ directed by Era Saravanan and ‘Oh My Dog’ featuring Arun Vijay and his son Aarnav Vijay will be releasing in September, October and December respectively. The release dates of these three films are yet to be announced.
All the four films are produced by Suriya and Jyotika under the 2D Entertainement banner and apart from ‘Raame Aandalum Raavane Aandalum’ will release in Telugu as well.
