Rishab Shetty who is riding on the success of his latest film ‘Kantara’ has one more feather in his cap. ‘Shivamma’ the actor’s recent production has won the New Currents Award at the Busan International Film Festival.
Rishab Shetty apart from acting and directing has been producing quality films under his Rishab Shetty Films. ‘Pedro’ which was produced by Rishab Shetty also has been screened at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival and other festivals.
Now his latest film ‘Shivamma’ being written and directed by Jaishankar Aryar has not only been screened at the Busan International Film Festival, but has also won the New Currents Award. Jaishankar recently received the award at the festival.
‘Shivamma’ stars Sharanamma Chetti, Chennamma Abbegere, Shivu Abbegere, Shruthi Kondenahalli and others in prominent roles. The film has cinematography by Vikas Urs and Saumyananda Sahi. Jaishankar himself has edited the film along with Chandan C M.
Meanwhile, Rishab Shhetty’s ‘Kantara’ is doing roaring business all over and has also been dubbed and released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
