After acting in two films including ‘Swartha Ratna’, Adarsh Gunduraj is back with a new film and this time, the actor is playing a lead role in the film ‘Calendar’. The shooting of the film is complete and the post-production is under progress. Adarsh plans to release the film in the first quarter next year.
Recently, a song titled ‘Nanyaru’ from the film was released and the song is garnering a large number of views. The lyrics for ‘Nanyaru’ is written by Sanjay YBH and Naveen Shakti, and the song has been sung by Adarsh’s daughter Anushka Kagineré along with Hrithik Poojari and Sanjay. Music has been composed by Sunad Gowtham. The song is available on the Anand Audio YouTube channel.
Speaking on the occasion, actor and producer Adarsh Gunduraj said, ‘after ‘Swartha Ratna’, I am acting as the lead in this film. This is the third film in which I have played the protagonist. Years pass by, but a calendar is very helpful in identifying each day. The title is closely connected to the story of the film. I have written the story and also produced the film myself. This story will be especially relatable to women’ said Adarsh.
Director Naveen Shakti said, ‘I come from a theatre background and this is my first film as a director. Adarsh Gunduraj has written a story for ‘Calendar’ that will connect with everyone’s hearts’ said the director.
The film stars Adarsh Gunduraj along with Sushmita and Nivishka Patil, Malashri, Ramesh Indira, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Tuminadu, Suchendra Prasad and others. The film has cinematography by Ramesh Koyira and music by Sunad Gowtham.
