Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty who made a comeback to Sandalwood with Dhruva Sarja starrer ‘KD – The Devil’ has completed the shooting for the film recently.
Director ‘Jogi’ Prem has shared a glimpse of the final day of Shilpa Shetty in the film. Shilpa Shetty plays the role of Satyavati in the film and the actress says it is one of her favourite roles in her career. Speaking about the film, ‘we didn’t have any break. Prem is a perfectionist. He does not feel hungry while shooting. I can finally get rid of the wig I wore for this film. ‘KD – The Devil’ is the film to watch out for and Satyavati is one my favourite roles’ said Shilpa Shetty.
This is Shilpa Shetty’s fourth film in Kannada. The actress made her debut with V Ravichandran starrer ‘Preethsod Tappa’ followed by ‘Ondagona Baa’ and ‘Auto Shankar’. Her last film in Kannada was in 2005 and the actress will be making a comeback after almost 19 years.
The shooting for ‘KD – The Devil’ is almost complete except for a patchwork and three songs. The team has shot for almost 150 days till now and team plans to complete the shooting by June end and release the teaser on the occasion of Varamahalakshmi Festival. Prem has officially announced that the film will be releasing in December.
‘KD – The Devil’ is a film based on true incidents in Bangalore’s underworld which happened in the 1970s. The film is being produced by KVN Productions and is scripted and directed by ‘Jogi’ Prem. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while William David is the cinematographer.
The film stars Dhruva Sarja, Reeshma Naniah, Ravichandran, Shilpa Shetty, Ramesh Aravind, Sanjay Dutt and others in prominent roles.
