Dhananjay who had announced that he will be producing at least two films with newcomers from his production house Daali Pictures every year has kept up his promise. After ‘Vidyapathi’, Dhananjay has launched yet another film with newcomers called ‘JC – University’.
‘JC – University’ is the fifth film from Daali Pictures and was officially launched on Wednesday morning at the Bande Mahakali Temple in Bangalore. The film stars Prakyath of ‘Naduve Antaravirali’ in lead role.
As the title itself suggests, ‘JC’ refers to Judicial Custody and the film tells the story of a youth who has returned from Jail. The film is written and directed by Chethan Jayaram. ‘JC’ is a mass entertainer which has cinematography by Karthik and music by Rohith Sower.
‘JC’ marks the return of Prakyath to acting after five years. Prakyath is famous for the ‘Shakuntale Sikkalu’ song from ‘Naduve Antharavirale’ and will be playing a prominent role in the film. Newcomer Bhavana is the heroine.
The shooting for ‘JC’ starts soon.
