‘Dollu’ actor Karthik Mahesh has emerged the winner of the 10th season of the hugely popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada’ by beating Drone Prathap and Sangeetha Sringeri. Karthik has been declared as the winner by anchor Sudeep on Sunday night in Bangalore.
‘Bigg Boss’ was launched in the first week of October. 17 contestants had entered the house and two had entered the house through wild card entry. After many eliminations only five contestants including Karthik Mahesh, Drone Prathap, Vinay Gowda, Varthur Santhosh and Sangeetha Sringeri were in the final round.
This time, Sangeetha Sringeri and Drone Prathap were considered as the favourites amongst general public and social media. Other candidates who were eliminated from the house also hoped that either Sangeetha or Prathap will be the winner of the season. At one point of time, there were news that Drone Prathap has outdone others and has won the ‘Bigg Boss’. However, every other speculation and news has turned out to be false and Karthik Mahesh has emerged as the winner of the show here by winning a cash prize of 50 lakhs and other rewards.
This time Namrata Gowda, Snehith Gowda, Sangeetha Sringeri, Rakshak Bullet, Sirija, Drone Pratap, Varthur Santhosh, Vinay Gowda, Eshani, Tukali Santhosh, Neethu Vanjaakshi, Snake Shyam, Gaurish Akki, Michael Ajay and Karthik Mahesh went to the ‘Bigg Boss’ house as contestants.
The 10th season was considered as one of the most controversial seasons of the show.
