Sandalwood actor Sumanth Shailendra who was last seen in ‘Govinda Govinda’ which was released two years is back with a new film called ‘Chaser’. The actor will be celebrating his birthday on the 07th of September. Meanwhile, the team is planning to release the first look of the film on the occasion of his birthday.
‘Chaser’ is being directed by M Jayaram who is looking forward for the release of his directorial debut ‘Buddhivanta 2’ starring Upendra. The film was launched a few years ago with a different name. Now the film is nearing completion and Jayaram intends to complete and release the film soon.
‘Chaser’ is being produced by Malathi Shekhar of Shivamogga. Jayaram himself has written the story and screenplay for this action thriller. Arjun Janya is the music composer, while K S Chandrashekhar is the cinematographer.
The film has an ensemble star cast with Raksha Menon playing the female lead opposite Sumanth Shailendra in the film. Ravishankar, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Kuri Prathap, Suchendra Prasad, ‘Kaddipudi’ Chandru, Sangeetha and others play prominent roles in the film.
