Sandalwood actress Radhana Ram has changed her name to Aradhanaa. Radhanaa wants to be called as Aradhanaa in the future.
Aradhanaa is the daughter of late producer Ramu and actress Malashree. She made her debut with with Darshan’s ‘Kaatera’ which was released almost one year back. The first look of Aradhaa was revealed on the Ugadi festival earlier this year.
Though the exact reason for the name change is not known, sources say Radhana changed her name to Aradhana because of astrological reasons.
Speaking about the same, her mother Malashree says the name Aradhanaa was finalized after consulting ‘Kaatera’ director Tharun Sudhir and producer Rockline Venkatesh. ‘This name is not only restricted for this film alone but for her future films’ says Malashree.
‘Challenging Star’ Darshan’s ‘Kaatera’ was officially launched on the Varamahalakshmi festival last year. Radhana plays the role of Prabhavathi in the film. She is seen holding a sickle in one hand and notebook in other hand in the poster which was released earlier.
‘Kaatera’ is being produced by Rockline Venkatesh. Tharun Sudhir is directing the film apart from directing it. The film is almost complete and the release date of the film is yet to be announced soon.
