Upendra starrer ‘Buddhivantha 2’ which was supposed to release on the 15th of September has been postponed mysteriously. The team is yet to announce a new date soon.
If everything had gone right, the film was supposed to release on the occasion of Upendra’s birthday. The teaser of the film was supposed to be out by today evening. The makers had confirmed the release dates of both the film as well as the teaser.
However, the team has now postponed the teaser and the release citing technical problems. Though the makers have said that a new release date would be announced soon, it is being said that Upendra’s other film ‘U/I’ would be releasing first, followed by ‘Buddhivantha 2’.
The film is being directed by debutante Jayadev (Bhadravathi Jayaram) and produced by Dr T R Chandrashekhar of ‘Chamak’ and ‘Ayogya’ fame under Crystal Park Films. Gurukiran has composed the music for the film, while S Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer.
‘Buddhivantha 2’ has Upendra playing double role after a very long gap. Srinagara Kitty plays the antagonist in this film, while Meghana Raj and Sonal Monteiro are the heroines.
