Vinay Rajkumar’s ‘Gramayana’ which was stopped because of the death of its producer is back to life. Manohar Naidu and K P Sreekanth have now taken over the film and the film will be launched on Thursday again.
‘Gramayana’ was launched a few years ago in Kalavidara Sangha Auditorium in Bangalore and Shivarajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar had come over as the chief guests and had launched the film. The teaser of the film was also released during the occasion.

However, the film was stopped midway because of producer S L N Murthy’s death. From then on the film was in the cold storage and now Manohar Naidu and K P Sreekanth have come forward to revive it. Manohar Naidu of Lahari Films and K P Sreekanth of Venus Entertainers are currently producing Upendra’s ‘UI’ now. ‘Gramayana’ will be the second joint venture of both the production houses.
‘Gramayana’ will be launched again on Thursday (08th June) at the Bande Mahakali Temple in Gavipuram. Devanooru Chandru will be directing the film with a new team.
Apart from this, Vinay Rajkumar has completed ‘Pepe’, ‘Ondu Sarala Premakathe’ and ‘Andondittu Kaala’ and is waiting for the release of the films.
