Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth who has almost completed ‘Jailer’ is currently busy with ‘Lal Salaam’. Meanwhile, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev is also seen in a guest role in the film.
Recently, the sequences starring Rajinikanth and Kapil Dev were shot in Mumbai and the superstar has shared a photo of his along with the legendary cricketer in social media.

Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of Moideen Bhai in the film and recently, the first look poster of the actor was released. Though Rajinikanth is seen in the role of Moideen Bhai, his character is kept under wraps.
Though not much details about the film has been revealed, the poster which was released during the launch indicates subtly says that this is a film about riots and Cricket also plays a major role in the film. ‘Lal Salaam’ stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikrant Santhosh in pivotal roles. The film is is produced by Subhaskaran under Lyca Productions and directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya Rajanikanth. A R Rahman is the music composer.
