Sandalwood actors Shivarajkumar, Ramya, ‘Duniya’ Vijay, Nishvika Naidu and others have campaigned former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the Varuna Constituency.
The Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled in a single phase across Karnataka on the 10th of May. Already stars like Sudeep, Darshan, Diganth, Harshika Poonachcha, Shuthi and others are busy campaigning for many candidates.
Now Shivarajkumar, Ramya, ‘Duniya’ Vijay and Nishvika Naidu have also joined the campaign fray for the elections. Though Shivarajkumar does not belong to any political party, his wife Geetha Shivarajkumar recently joined the Congress and after that Shivarajkumar is busy campaigning for a few candidates including his brother-in-law Madhu Bangarappa and others. On Thursday, Shivarajkumar participated in a political rally and campaigned for Siddaramaiah.

Ramya who is also a politician had earlier contested the Bye-elections for the Member of Parliament in Mandya Constituency. The actress had stayed away from politics in the recent times and is now busy campaigning for various candidates in the Old Mysore area.
This is the first time that actress Nishvika Naidu is participating in any election rally and on Thursday campaigned for Siddaramaiah and Shivarajkumar in Varuna constituency.
‘Duniya’ Vijay who is a staunch supporter of Siddaramaiah on Friday entered the campaign fray by campaigning for him. While he was campaigning for Siddaramaiah, Sudeep was campaigning for V Somanna in the same constituency.
