Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’ is all set to release on the 16th of June across the globe. Meanwhile, the first look poster of Kriti Sanon as Janaki has been released on Saturday.
On Saturday, Sita Navami is being celebrated across India and to mark the occasion the makers of ‘Adipurush’ has released the first look poster of actress Kriti Sanon who is playing the role of Sita or Janaki in the film. In the background, the song Jai Siya Ram is heard playing.

Adipurush’ is touted as India’s most expensive film in India and the shooting for the film was completed last year. The first teaser of the film which was released received a lot of flak from the viewers for its making and the VFX. Many had termed the teaser as cartoonish. The team is said to be reworking on the film and the film will be ready for release soon.
‘’Adipurush’ is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history’ says director Om Raut, who had earlier direct Ajay Devgan’s ‘Tanhaji’.
‘Adipurush’ is based on the Mythological Ramayana and the film stars Prabhas in the role of Lord Rama. Kriti Sanon is Sita, while Saif Ali Khan is seen in the role of Ravana. Sunny Singh, Sonal Chauhan, Devdutt Naage and others forms the rest of the cast.
The film is a PAN Indian film, made in Hindi primarily, but has been dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. ‘Adipurush’ is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar and will be released in 3D.
