Kollywood actor Suriya’s 42nd film is one of the most anticipated film in Indian cinema as it is being made in 3D and released in 10 languages. Meanwhile, the film has been titled as ‘Kanguva’.
Suriya 42 had created a lot of hype right from the commencement of the film in September last year. There was a curiosity among the actor’s fans about what would be the title of the film?
Recently, K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green has officially announced the title through a motion poster video. The film has been titled as ‘Kanguva’, which means a man with power of fire and a saga of a mighty valiant hero.
As the film was to be released in 10 languages, a common title was required to connect with all language audiences. The team has felt that ‘Kanguva’ would be apt for all the languages.

‘We are delighted to announce the title of Suriya 42 as ‘Kanguva’, a man with the power of fire, majestically represented by Suriya on screen. The film will be a unique and interesting experience for cinema lovers’ says director Siva who has also scripted the film.
‘Kanguva’ marks the debut of Bollywood actress Disha Patani to Tamil cinema. Apart from Suriya and Disha, Yogi Babu also plays a prominent role in the film.
The PAN Indian film has music by ‘Rockstar’ Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy. The film is being shot in Goa, Chennai and other locations and already 50 percent of the film is completed. The action entertainer will present the story of a mighty valiant hero in various avatars and is said to be mass entertainer, which will connect with all types of audiences.
