Ramesh Aravind starrer ‘Shivaji Suratkal 2’ is all set to hit the screens on 14th of April. Meanwhil, director Akash Srivatsa has said that the film is not only a mystery, but also an emotional journey.
Speaking during about the film recently, the director has said, the audience is sure in for a surprise in this film. ‘I don’t have any doubts regarding ‘SS 2’ entertaining the audience. People who have seen the first part will surely love this one also. This is not a regular film and not just a murder mystery. We have included a lot of other aspects in this film also’ says Akash Srivatsa.
The director says the film does not continue as just a murder mystery. ‘Though this is a murder mystery, it is also an emotional journey of Shivaji Suratkal. It portrays what all happens in his life before and after the first part. Is it a reality or an illusion is the crux of the film’ says Akash Srivatsa.
‘Shivaji Suratkal – The Mysterious case of Maayavi’ is the sequel of ‘Shivaji Suratkal – Ranagiri Rahasya’ which was released in 2020. The film is jointly produced by Rekha K N and Anup Gowda. Akash Srivatsa apart from directing has also scripted the film.
The film stars Ramesh Aravind, Radhika Narayan, Sangeetha Sringeri Vidya Murthy, Raghu Ramanakoppa, Nassar, Meghana Gaonkar, Rakesh Maiyya, Vinayak Joshi and others play prominent roles in the film.
