Its lockdown time for Komal; ‘Undenama’ trailer released

Off late, a few films have released with the backdrop of lockdown. Now the latest to join the bandwagon is Komal starrer ‘Undenama’ which is all set to hit the screens across Karnataka on April 14th.

Recently, the trailer of the film was released by Komal’s brother and actor-politician Jaggesh in an event in Bangalore and the film revolves around the Covid and lockdown. The film is all about a youth who is struck in lockdown.

Jaggesh said he is in always in awe with Komal’s comic sense. ‘Komal is returning back to silver screen after almost four years. He is a very good actor and his comic timing is great. I always wondered how he can smoothly carry any character on his shoulders. ‘Undenama’ is a laugh riot and I hope the audience likes the film’ says Jaggesh.

Komal says he is not the hero of the film, but the story itself is the hero. ‘When director Rajashekhar narrated the story to me, the film will be a hit irrespective of whoever acts in the film. The film is an out and out family entertainer’ says Komal.

‘Undenama’ marks the directorial debut of dialogue writer K L Rajashekhar. He has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. ‘Undenama’ is being produced by C Nanda Kishore.

The film stars Komal, Dhanya Balakrishna, Harish Raj, Apoova, Vaishnavi, Tanisha Kuppanda and Bank Jandardhan in prominent roles. Sridhar Sambharam is the music composer, while Naveen Kumar is the cinematographer.
