Sandalwood actress Sapthami Gowda who is riding high on the success of ‘Kantara’ has signed another prestigious film. This time she will be playing female lead opposite Yuva Rajkumar in ‘Yuva’.
The debut film of Dr Rajkumar’s grandson Yuva Rajkumar, ‘Yuva’ was launched last week in a grand event held in Bangalore. The launch was held at the Lalit Ashok in Bangalore and Shivarajkumar, Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Jaggesh, Raghavendra Rajkumar and others came over as the chief guests and wished Yuva and the team a huge success.
Meanwhile, on Monday the production house Hombale Films officially announced in social media that Sapthami Gowda has been roped into play female lead opposite Yuva Rajkumar in the film.

Sapthami Gowda apart from thanking the team has replied that she is excited to start shooting for the film. Apart from ‘Yuva’, Sapthami is also a part of Abhishek Ambarish’s ‘Kaali’ and Vivek Agnihotri’s Bollywood film ‘The Vaccine War’.
‘Yuva’ is being produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films and written and directed by Santhosh Anandaram. Ajaneesh Lokanath is composing the music, while Srisha Kudavalli is the cinematographer.
The film is all set to hit the screens on the 22nd of December this year.
