Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has achieved something unimaginable. The actor has broken a Guinness World Record for the most number of Selfies taken in just three minutes.
Akshay Kumar is looking forward for the release of his forthcoming film ‘Selfiee’. During an event to promote the film, the actor broke the previous records and went on to create a new Guinness World Record by clicking 184 selfies in three minutes.
Earlier, the record was in the name of Hollywood actor Dwayne Johnson, who had taken 105 selfies in just three minutes during a movie premiere in 2015. The record was broken by James Smith by clicking 168 selfies in three minutes. Now Akshay Kumar has surpassed the previous two records and has carved a record in his name.
Speaking during the occasion, ‘I am ecstatic at breaking this unique World Record and sharing this moment with my fans. Everything that I have achieved so far is due to the unconditional love and support of my fans everywhere. This was my way of paying a special tribute to them’ said the actor.
‘Selfiee’ is the remaking of Malayalam hit ‘Driving Licence’. Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi will be reprising the roles of Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu. While, Akshay Kumar is seen in the role of a superstar, Emraan will be playing the role of a Traffic inspector who confronts the superstar. ‘Selfiee’ is being directed by Raj Mehta.
