Scientific thriller is one genre which is barely touched in Sandalwood. Now debutante director Ajay Sarpeshkar has silently completed a sci-fi thriller called ‘Mandala’ and the film is all set to release on the 10th of March.
Ajay Sarpeshkar is basically a software engineer, but his passion towards cinema made him to try his hand in direction. Ajay apart from producing and directing ‘Mandala’ has also scripted the film along with Prakash Belawadi.
The first look of the film was launched recently and going by the poster, the film talks about UFOs and aliens. More details about the story are yet awaited. The director says it is a family drama with science fiction.
The film was launched in 2018. However, due to visual effects and Corona, the film was delayed. Now the film has been completed and is waiting for a release on the 10th of March across Karnataka.
‘Mandala’ boasts of an ensemble star cast including Ananth Nag, Prakash Belawadi, Sharmila Mandre, Samyukta Hornad, Kiran Srinivas, Sudha Belawadi, Neenasam Ashwath, Mandeep Roy and others in prominent roles. ‘Mandala’ has music by Jessie Clinton, while Manohar Joshi is the cinematographer.
